    Nursing Care

    Caregiving Specialist (CNA)
    Perform various resident care activities and related basic hygiene tasks necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents.

    • -Part time all shifts
    • -PRN Any Shift

     

    Social Worker
    Responsible for in-house case work to include the resident, the family and community. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of social work and two years experience in a long term care setting required.

    •  Full time

     

    Neighborhood Leader
    Are you an experienced team- builder with an eager and open mind? Are you interested in blazing a new trail in creating a culture of person-centered care for older adults? Consider this full-time, director-level position, responsible for leading 140 direct care and 52 indirect care staff in a long term care environment. We are seeking someone with demonstrated experience in growing effective teams and nurturing individual and team learning. This unique new leadership position will offer the right candidate an opportunity to create an energetic and empowered team that will positively enhance the quality of life for long-term care residents. Bachelors degree required. Long Term Care experience a must.

    Staff Nurse
    Assures quality and continuity of resident care and is responsible for supervising the performance of all members of the nursing care team on a designated Neighborhood and shift. Must have current RN/LPN license in Pennsylvania.

    • -Part time 3-11 & 11-7

    Enhanced Living

    Charge Nurses
    Provides supportive care for residents under the direction of the Enhanced Living Nurse Coordinator and provides leadership to the Neighborhood Care Teams. 

    • -Per Diem  

     

    Nursing Assistant
    Perform various resident care activities and related basic hygiene tasks necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents.

    • -Part time 7-1, 7-3,  & 4-10pm 
    • -PRN Any Shift

     

    Home Care

    Home Care Manager
    Responsible for the leadership and management of the daily overall operations of At Home as well as leadership and oversight related to the At Home service implementation process from the initial inquiry to the implementation of care.  Serves as liaison between Messiah Lifeways At Home and external referral sources and clients in the surrounding community. Works closely with all members of the Messiah Lifeways At Home Team in providing services offered in a professional, efficient manner.

    • Bachelors degree in human services or related field from an accredited college or university
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
    • Possesses exceptional customer service skills and competencies, including excellent writing and speaking skills, and the ability to develop effective referral relationships with potential and existing customers and referral sources. Exhibits ease and effectiveness in communicating.
    • Minimum of two (2) years experience in geriatric care management, long term care or community services serving older adults preferred.

     

    Home Care Assistant
    The Home Care Assistant provides personal care and related services for clients according to the Care Plan developed by the client and/or family, under the supervision of the Messiah Lifeways At Home Care professional staff.

     Additional Opportunities

    Coordinator of Furniture and Equipment
    This person coordinates the moving and storage of all resident furniture and is responsible for all room and event setups. Assists in the warehouse for additional duties.

     Gift Development
    The Gift Development assistant  cheerfully meets and greets all visitors, manages all clerical activities, oversees and organizes office functions.  This person is also responsible for maintaining all donor files/records, scheduling appointments, and coordinates special events sponsored by the office.  The Gift Development Assistant also provides administrative and clerical support for mailings, other fundraising events, and community relation activities of the Gift Development office.

    • Full time

     

    Transportation Assistant
    Provide transportation and errands for the residents and staff of Messiah Lifeways. Must have CDL.
